What standard does NCW Tires target?

The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Where WCAG 2.2 and 2.1 differ, the 2.2 requirement is applied, including focus not obscured, dragging movements having a single-pointer alternative, consistent help placement, and no redundant entry of information already given in the same process.

NCW Tires does not install an accessibility overlay, toolbar, or widget. Overlays do not create conformance. Accessibility is handled in the site markup itself.

When was the site last evaluated?

Most recent evaluation: {{LAST_A11Y_AUDIT_DATE}}. Method: automated testing with axe-core across every route, plus manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of the navigation, the quote form, and the mobile call bar, plus screen reader spot checks and verification at 200 percent zoom and 320 CSS pixel width.

What are the known limitations?

• The embedded Google Map is a third-party component NCW Tires does not control. A text address, a phone number, and a directions link sit next to the map as an equivalent accessible path.
• Third-party financing applications open on the lender's own site, and their accessibility is controlled by the lender. Call (760) 737-7141 and we will walk any application through with you by phone.
• Older vehicle and build photos may have shorter alt text than newer ones. Photo descriptions are being rewritten as pages are updated.

How do I request an accommodation or report a barrier?

Email info@ncwtires.com with the subject line Accessibility, or call (760) 737-7141 during shop hours. Include the page address and what happened. NCW Tires acknowledges accessibility reports within 3 business days and gives a plan or a fix within 10 business days. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you and give you the information you needed by phone or email in the meantime.
